The Durbar Square was once the royal palace complex of the ancient Malla and Shah dynasties. It is surrounded by impressive palaces, temples, courtyards, and statues, reflecting the intricate craftsmanship of the Newari architecture
- Swayambhunath Stupa: Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, is an ancient Buddhist stupa located on a hilltop in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is one of the oldest and most sacred Buddhist sites in the country. The stupa is known for its iconic white dome with a golden spire and a pair of eyes painted on all four sides, symbolizing the all-seeing eyes of Buddha. It offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and attracts both Buddhist pilgrims and tourists
- Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holds significant historical and architectural value. It served as the palace complex of the Malla kings, who ruled the Kathmandu Valley during medieval times

- Fly to Paro
- Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. Thimphu the capital of Bhutan is the home of the Royal family
- After breakfast visit Tashichhodzong, the main secretariat building which houses the throne room of His Majesty, the king
- View of the Thimphu Valley from BBS Tower is very captivating and will prove to be the perfect introduction to Thimphu. One of the sites of a religious nature are National Memorial Chorten; built in 1974 it was raised in memory of the third King
- Next visit one of the oldest monasteries in the valley- Chang Gangkha Monastery
- The nature and wildlife lovers should not miss a visit to the National Zoo which also houses national animal takin
- National Library (collections of holy scripts) & in the evening visit Buddha point
- Overnight at Thimphu
- After breakfast visit Paro local sightseeing, Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutaneseantiquities, Rinpung Dzong - the administrative seat of the district of Paro
- Afternoon visit Drukgyel Dzong - The Dzong was destroyed by fire in 1951 and is now preserved as a heritage site & Kyichu Lhakhang - one of the oldest Buddist temples in Bhutan
